Zoo Animal Role, Add & Colour Maths Game
About This Primary Resource
This is s great maths game to use with young children, particularly if you are doing a zoo theme in your class. As well as the printed download you'll need two dice as well as some crayons, pencils or pens. Roll the dice, add the numbers, and colour the zoo animal that matches the total.
For two players, each chooses a unique colour, takes turns to roll the dice and colours as they go. Alternatively, instead of choosing a single colour they could write their initials next to each of their animals to keep track of who has coloured in what. The player who colours in the most animals is the winner.
The instructions are editable. Use Acrobat to modify or translate the text after downloading.
