The Very Hungry Caterpillar
The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle is a well-known and well-loved children’s classic. It tells the story of a tiny caterpillar who develops an enormous appetite and proceeds to eat huge quantities of many types of food, until he makes himself feel quite sick. This story is ideal for using during PSED lessons to discuss healthy eating and can also be effectively used to reinforce basic numeracy skills.
