Pirate Number Bonds of 10 Board Game
About This Primary Resource
This is a fun pirate themed maths game focusing on the number bonds of 10.
Print out either the A4 board or the large board made up of four A4 pages.
Print out the pirate counters and give one to each player. Alternatively, you could use your own counters such as Lego figurines.
Players take turns to roll the dice and move along the board. We have included a dice template that you could use in this download.
As players move around the board they will land on spaces that have numbers on them. They must say aloud the number that would need to be added to that number to make 10. If they are correct then they stay where they have just landed. If they are incorrect then they move back to where they started. The winner is the player that get to the end of the board first.
We also have a version of this resource where the focus is the number bonds of 20.
