Addition Playdough Activity Mats / Sheets
About This Primary Resource
A set of 7 activity mats that involve adding together items made out of playdough. You set a total number of items that need to be made on each sheet. The children must make them and then share them out by putting them on the two pictures shown on the page. For example you might decide that they should put a total of 10 spots on the two ladybirds. This could be formulated in a few different ways - you could then get them to say aloud the number sentence for the formulation they have chosen to use - for example 5 plus 5 equals 10.
