About This Primary Resource
The second of our Forest School session plans designed to
encourage, motivate, engage and inspire children through positive outdoor experiences.
Some of the objectives of this session:
- talk about footprints and where and when we see them
- To make a footprint.
- To look closely at an animal’s footprint.
- Introduce the Woodland animal puppets.
- Identify a Woodland animal’s footprint by playing the game ‘Where’s my Mummy’.
- To sit and listen to a story.
It may be useful to use the following risk assessment template alongside this plan.
