MTP: The Umbrellas (Understanding the World)

A comprehensive Medium Term Plan relating to the National Gallery’s ‘Take One Picture’ scheme. Each year the National Gallery selects a painting from its collection and challenges schools and Early Years Centres to use it imaginatively as the basis for cross-curricular learning. This MTP relates to Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s 'The Umbrellas' and it focuses on the Understanding the World area of learning as set out in the revised EYFS. It was created by Kerry Moody, an experienced EYFS teacher and manager in a school with outstanding early years provision.
