Free Emotion Colouring Activity

About This Primary Resource
This printable 'Emotion Colouring Activity' is a great resource for EYFS / KS1 teachers and parents, particularly those supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). It’s a Personal, Social, and Emotional Development (PSED) activity that encourages children to explore and express their emotions through colour.
The task involves colouring in different emoji-style faces, choosing colours they feel best represent each emotion. For instance they could go with yellow for happy, pink for embarrassed, grey for left out etc.
It's an engaging and calming activity that helps build emotional literacy and self-awareness. Perfect for use in the classroom or at home. There are two versions inside the download - one that includes the name of each emotion and another without any text. Confident learners could use the latter version and write the name of the emotion next to each picture. Download for free below.
