How to use these cards in the classroom

There are many creative ways in which you could use these cards. Here are a few examples:
- In small groups, children pick a card and describe how they would feel and respond in that situation.
- Use the cards as writing prompts for reflective journaling.
- Create freeze-frame drama activities where children act out different responses.
- Sort scenarios into categories such as 'happy,' 'sad,', 'jealous' 'frustrated, 'excited' etc to build emotional vocabulary.

They are ideal for EYFS and KS1 teachers as well as parents and childminders. They are a great tool for developing social skills, emotional intelligence, and resilience in young children and could be used alongside our Emotions Chart.
