Public sector strikes

As I’m sure you all know, members of the National Union of Teachers and the Association of Teachers and Lecturers will be on strike tomorrow resulting in the closure of approximately 7850 school across England and Wales.

The strikes are over reforms to public sector pensions  (discussed in more detail in a previous blog post). The strikes are likely to divide opinion among the general public as illustrated in this news feature by channel 4:
