Under the Sea Maths Game: All About 8
About This Primary Resource
A maths ‘under the sea’ game designed to build an awareness of the different ways that the number 8 can be formulated. The aim of the game is to collect 8 cards from a certain category (either: clownfish, sharks, crabs, whales or turtles) by spinning the spinner. Suggested question to ask when playing the game: "You have x number of cards - how many more do you need to make 8?"
We also have versions on our site where the objective is to collect either 6 or 10 cards.
