Revised EYFS teaching resources

Over the summer we had so many messages from people who really love the resources in our observation and assessment section asking us if we will be updating them to reflect the changes made in the revised EYFS which came into force this month. I’m pleased to say that we’ve finally made a start on some of the more popular ones.

The eyfs statement stickers have been updated with the new statements for each area of learning (sorted by age group).

We’ve also updated the learning journey template and the learning journey parent guide. Our next step will be to update the areas of learning covers…although we’re having some difficulty finding pictures that represent ‘communication and language’ so if you have anything you think is suitable that you’re happy to share please get in touch – we’d really appreciate your help. If you spot any other resources on the site that need updating as a result of the changes to the eyfs then please let us know.

It’s taken much longer than we’d hoped to make these changes. It’s been a really busy summer and over the last couple of weeks we haven’t been able to focus as much on the site as we would have liked. We’ve been busy looking for and subsequently decorating our new office in Swansea city centre and we’re currently in the process of taking on a few new members of staff so things have been a little hectic. The good news is though that in the months ahead we will be in a much stronger position to develop loads of new high quality teaching resources…all offered free of charge! In fact if you have any particular resources that you’d like our expanded workforce to work on then please contact us.
