Phonics / Letters & Sounds

This section contains a collection of early years (EYFS)/ key stage 1 (KS1) lesson plans, activities and ideas to assist with the teaching of phonics and the DfES Letters and Sounds programme. It now includes a scheme of work / planning guidance for each phase of the letters and sounds programme as well as an assessment template. You may also like to look at our extensive literacy section, where we have a comprehensive selection of Phase 1-6 resources.

We are looking to make this section as comprehensive as possible and as such if you have any letters and sounds planning documents that you would like to share we’d love to hear from you. We are happy to pay for these documents.
